About us
The story
Lehis started at a kitchen table. A group of friends looked at the row of plastic bottles in a laundry cupboard and thought there had to be a simpler way — no caps, no measuring, no bottles to deal with afterwards.
That's how detergent in sheet form came about. One sheet, one wash, a box that fits on the narrowest shelf you own. A simple thing nobody in Estonia was doing yet.
The name
Lehis is the Estonian word for larch — the conifer that behaves like a deciduous tree, dropping its needles in winter and growing new ones each spring. We liked that it's an Estonian word nobody here needs explained. And that the word for leaf sits inside it.
What we make
We make laundry and dishwasher sheets, each available fragrance-free or lightly scented.

What we believe
Less packaging
Liquid detergent is largely water, shipped across Europe in plastic bottles. We ship sheets. The same number of washes weighs a fraction as much.
Straight talk
We don't claim our product is a miracle. We say what it does and what it doesn't. Where one sheet isn't enough for a load, that's written on our site.
Local access
The brand is Estonian and orders ship from here. No waiting for a parcel from the other side of the world.
